Denniel Duong joined Nathens, Siegel LLP as an articling student in 2019 and returned as an Associate after he was called to the Bar in 2020. Prior to, Denniel graduated from the Queen’s Faculty of Law where he spent a considerable amount of his final year as the judicial student at the Kingston Family Court.
Denniel recognizes that everyone’s family law matter is unique and he tailors his approach – whether in negotiation or litigation – to each particular set of circumstances, and he works diligently with his clients to find the most efficient path to resolution. During his time with Nathens, Siegel LLP, Denniel has used this custom-built approach to advocate strongly on behalf of clients before the Ontario Court of Justice, Superior Court of Justice, and Ontario Court of Appeal.
Before becoming a lawyer, Denniel channeled his competitive nature into combat sports where he spent more than 15 years training in various martial arts disciplines, and even contemplated a career as a professional mixed martial artist. Denniel enjoys being active, whether it be at the gym, outdoors with his dog Storm, or playing sports, and he still participates in combat sports (recreationally). Denniel is also an avid supporter of the Toronto Raptors, Blue Jays.
